Job seekers will be given the opportunity to meet regional employers at the WANT Job and Career Expo on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at the Ramada Greensburg Hotel and Conference Center (Greensburg). The Expo will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., during which job seekers will be able to learn about job opportunities and submit resumes to businesses. Alison Gloekler, assistant director of Career Services at Pitt-Greensburg, will discuss the basics of developing a resume and cover letter. Pitt-Greensburg 22nd Annual Children’s Literature Conference




The Pitt-Greensburg Annual Children's Literature Conference will be held on May 4, 2018. The Pitt-Greensburg Children's Literature Conference serves educators and librarians in the Western Pennsylvania community and beyond. The conference will offer presentations by nationally known children’s authors, informative breakout sessions, a continental breakfast, a hot buffet lunch, and book signing.  Registration is required. Attention students! The PGAA is currently accepting nominations for the 2018 Outstanding Faculty Award.  Nominees must be a full-time faculty member at Pitt-Greensburg, and the previous year’s recipient is not eligible for the current year.  Nominations are being accepted through Wednesday, February 21, 2018. For more information and nomination form, Click Here...

This award is given to  Pitt-Greensburg student who best exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism through participation in a student organization in his or her community. Watch the Pirates take on the Cincinnati Reds! All Pitt-Greensburg students, faculty, staff, alumni, and their families are invited on Saturday, June 16, 2018 to participate in Pitt-Greensburg at PNC Park. Come early for food, fun, and giveaways. Game time is 4:05 p.m.
