Growth Through Knowledge and Understanding speaker series that is focusing on environmental justice. Chris Perkins, a senior director with the Outdoor Recreation Roundtable, will discuss accessibility and equity in the use of public spaces on Wednesday, Oct. 6. The series is offered virtually and is FREE.

The 2022-2023 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available for completion. Students should go to studentaid.gov to complete the FAFSA using 2020 Tax Return data for themselves and their parents when/where appropriate. Money Moves: Understanding Credit. Credit. What is that? How does it work? Why is it important? Credit is the ability to borrow money or access goods or services with the understanding that you'll repay later. Join the Financial Wellness Program to learn the answers to these questions and understand consumer credit.

WestPACs Virtual Career Fair: Stop by Career Services (Chambers Hall, second floor) to find out how to register for this year's WestPACs Virtual Career Fair. Start your job search now or find an internship in your career field. So many opportunities! Registration is required.

Pitt-Greensburg Admissions Virtual Nursing Session: During this one-hour virtual session, you will hear from our Director of Nursing, Marie A. Fioravanti, DNP, RN, and our admissions team. This online Zoom session will provide an overview of the Pitt Nursing program, learn about gaining clinical experience, and the job outlook. This information session is offered to all students. For zoom link, registration is required.

Fall Break Diversity Student Coalition Trip to NYC: Pitt-Greensburg students will enjoy their fall break that runs from October 15 through October 17. Check out the trip to New York City that is hosted by the Diversity Student Coalition. The cost is $75. The bus leaves at 6 a.m. Friday and returns Sunday afternoon. Find out more from the Student Activities Office in Chambers Hall (second floor).
 

Pitt-Greensburg's annual Fall Into the Streets will run from Monday, October 18 through Friday, October 22--and there are plenty of opportunities to volunteer in our community. The first 100 people to sign up for projects will be guaranteed a shirt. Teams representing campus clubs/organizations see how you can earn money for their unrestricted accounts!
