The Pitt-Greensburg Theatre Company presents Dracula, a play by Steven Dietz based on Bram Stocker's novel of the same name.  The production will run November 15 through November 17. in Ferguson Theater (Smith Hall). Director Stephen Schrum, PhD, borrows from techniques used in 1930s radio drama, including a musician who will provide live mood music and sound effects for the performance. As part of the Colloquium and Seminar Series (CASS Talks), Dr. John V. Burkardt, from the University of South Carolina, will present a talk entitled, "The Shattered Urn." Sudoku, Instant Insanity, Tangrams, the Soma Cube, Pentomino Tiling and even logic puzzles like “Who Owns the Zebra” can all be thought of as tasks in which a "shattered" or disassembled object needs to be reconstructed from a collection of pieces. Click Here...

It’s time to jingle and mingle!  Kick off the holiday season with the PGAA’s Merry Mingle on Friday, December 7 at 7 p.m. in the Millstein Library. Formerly the Holiday Wine Tasting, the Merry Mingle is a new take on an annual favorite.  Have a photo taken with Bruiser, participate in the ugly holiday sweater contest, sample delicious appetizers, indulge in a hot chocolate bar, and more.
