Pitt-Greensburg 23rd Annual Children’s Literature Conference

 

 

The Pitt-Greensburg Annual Children's Literature Conference will be held on May 3, 2019. The Pitt-Greensburg Children's Literature Conference serves educators and librarians in the Western Pennsylvania community and beyond. The conference will offer presentations by nationally known children’s authors, informative breakout sessions, a continental breakfast, a hot buffet lunch, and book signing.  Registration is required. PGAA Board 2019-2022 Term nominations
 

Join the Pitt-Greensburg Alumni Association Board, the official representative group of Pitt-Greensburg alumni.  Members serve in an advisory capacity to the Office of Alumni Relations and on the alumni Professional Development, Engagement, and Events Committees. The Board of Directors serves a critical role by providing strategic direction, resources, and professional expertise to help carry out the mission of the PGAA. Alumni are invited to nominate candidates to serve one term of three years, beginning Monday, July 1, 2019, with the option of being elected to a second term.  Self-nominations are encouraged. Barbara Barnhart, an instructor of biology at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, is one of five faculty members to receive the 2019 Chancellor's Distinguished Teaching Award.
