The Joan Chambers Concert Series welcomes Layali Al-Sham to the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. Layali Al-Sham will provide local music aficionados the opportunity to experience the performance of diverse styles of Arab music in the intimate setting of the Mary Lou Campana Chapel and Lecture Center at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 6, and is open to the public at no charge. Sexual Misconduct: Perspectives on the Problem, Possibilities for Resolution is the topic of this year’s Dr. Bernard Cobetto Lecture, to be held Thursday, April 5, at 7 p.m. at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. Pitt-Greensburg’s Written/Spoken Series welcomes poets Christine Stroud and Meghan Tutolo on Thursday, April 5, at 7 p.m. in the Mary Lou Campana Chapel and Lecture Hall. Senior Capstone students Kara Goughnour and Shelby Newhouse will serve open the event reading from their own work. Pitt-Greensburg 22nd Annual Children’s Literature Conference

The Pitt-Greensburg Annual Children's Literature Conference will be held on May 4, 2018. The Pitt-Greensburg Children's Literature Conference serves educators and librarians in the Western Pennsylvania community and beyond. The conference will offer presentations by nationally known children’s authors, informative breakout sessions, a continental breakfast, a hot buffet lunch, and book signing.  Registration is required.
