Highlight Pitt-Greensburg's annual Activities Fair will be held on Wednesday, September 5 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Stop by Chambers Hall Lawn and visit the tables hosted by the wide variety of organizations. There is something for everyone with more than 50 groups to choose from to enhance your campus experience. Click Here... Club de lectura invites you to in the conversation about a book in Spanish! The club de lectura will discuss the book De Cómo las muchachas García perdieron el acento (How the García Girls Lost Their Accents), a novel written by Dominican-American poet, novelist, and essayist Julia Alvarez. Come join in for conversation and games in Spanish on Wednesday, September 5 at 11:45 a.m. All levels of Spanish are welcome at the Village Coffeehouse for this activity that earns Academic Village credit. Click Here... Auditions will be held September 5 and September 6 for the Pitt-Greensburg Theatre Company's fall production of Dracula, a play by Steven Dietz that is based on Bram Stoker's novel. Stage crew and other positions are open. Click Here... Student Alumni Association (SAA) Kick-Off! This year’s SAA Kick-off will be a bowling and pizza party at Main Bowl (Greensburg). The event will be held from 9 -11 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 14. The event is FREE for alumni, SAA members and their guests. Transportation is available for students. The Pitt-Greensburg Alumni Association (PGAA) and Student Alumni Association (SAA) will partner again for the United Way’s Day of Caring on Friday, Sept. 14. This year, they will be prepping literacy activities for Wesley Family Services (Greensburg) from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The day’s activities will include cutting, tracing, and measuring. The Fair will be held at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg’s Chambers Hall Gymnasium' 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 11th. The fair is FREE and open to current students, alumni, and the public. Whether you are interested in a particular program or just want to check out the options, this is a great chance to do some preliminary research and planning.
