All of Us RESEARCH PROGRAM
On Tuesday, September 17 and Wednesday, September 18, as well as Thursday, October 10 and Wednesday October 16, representatives of the All of Us Pennsylvania, in coordination with the University of Pittsburgh , will be on campus conducting visits with individuals participating in the nationwide All of Us Research Program.
The All of Us Research Program is a historic effort to gather data from one million or more people living in the United States to accelerate research and improve health. By taking into account individual differences in lifestyle, environment, and biology, researchers will uncover paths towards delivering personalized medicine.
All participants receive a $25 gift card upon completion of their visit.

PARK(ing) DAY 2019 Today, it's just a parking space . . . but what COULD it be? Every September, people around the world turn parking spaces into “PARK(ing)” spaces for a day: temporary parklets, gardens, art studios, performance venues, creative interventions, social spaces, and more.
This year, the entire University of Pittsburgh How can your organization or department transform an ordinary parking space? Create a stage and fill it with performances? Build a temporary interactive art installation? Design a meditative space, or a mini making studio, or a gym? The possibilities are limited only by your imagination, and by a few creative constraints: everything must be temporary (think chalk, not paint) and cleaned up at the end of the day, there’s no access to electricity, and you have a space approximately 8’ x 18’ to work with. Pitt-Greensburg organizations or departments, registered by September 17 can receive $25 towards supplies, compliments of the Office of Student Involvement & Student Center.
