The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg will continue to offer its successful drive-thru campus tour option to prospective students and their families. Prospective students can register for a tour of campus for Saturday, October 31.

Applications are now being accepted for the Vira I. Heinz Program for Women in Global Leadership. Pitt-Greensburg students are encouraged to review the application requirements for this well-respected scholarship program. The Vira I. Heinz Program for Women in Global Leadership program awards a minimum of $5,000 to up to three women at Pitt Greensburg for an international summer experience as part of the comprehensive scholarship program. The deadline to apply is November 1, 2020.

Highlights
 

Pitt-Greensburg: La Femme General Meeting will be held October 19, La Femme, a campus club that delves into women's issues, invites students to participate in its general meetings. The meetings are held via Zoom.

Join La Femme at Chipolte (2014 Lincoln Place, Greensburg, PA) to support its fundraiser. Bring the emailed flyer, show the flyer on your smart-phone, or tell the cashier you are supporting La Femme to make sure that 33% of the proceeds will be donated to our organization.

Phi Eta Sigma
, the freshman honor society, will host its annual Oktoberfest on Chambers Lawn. Be sure to stop by for some traditional food, root beer floats, and games--all hosted by Pitt-Greensburg clubs and organizations.

The Pitt-Greensburg Democrats are hosting watch parties for the 2020 Presidential Debate series. These watch parties will begin at 8 p.m. with an open, moderated discussion and the debates will start around 9 p.m. Mark your calendar for October 22.

COVID-19 Dashboard and CMRO Updates:

The Pitt COVID-19 Dashboard provides an overview of COVID-19 cases with-in the University community. The dashboard is updated twice weekly, and shows results of ongoing surveillance testing, along with the number of positive tests per day, active cases in isolation, and cumulative positive tests since August 1 among our campus population.

Pitt-Plus is a program sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg’s Student Government Association (SGA) and Office of Student Activities. This program is designed to assist in providing and/or advertising discounts and services to current students, faculty, and staff from local businesses.
