2020 Outstanding Faculty Award

The PGAA is accepting nominations from students for the Outstanding Faculty Award 2020.  Established in 2004, this award acknowledges excellence among faculty at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg.  Nominations will be accepted through Sunday, February 16, 2020. 2020 Student Community Service Award

The PGAA is now accepting nominations for the Student Community Service Award.  The PGAA recognizes a student who best exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism through participation in student organizations and within one’s community.  The winner of this award is expected to attend the end-of-year Student Leadership Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday, April 17.  The recipient receives $500, which is applied to his/her University account. Students may self-nominate or be nominated by fellow students, faculty, or staff. All of Us RESEARCH PROGRAM

 

On Tuesday, February 25, Tuesday, March 10, and Wednesday, March 25 representatives of the All of Us Pennsylvania, in coordination with the University of Pittsburgh , will be on campus conducting visits with individuals participating in the nationwide All of Us Research Program.

 

The All of Us Research Program is a historic effort to gather data from one million or more people living in the United States to accelerate research and improve health. By taking into account individual differences in lifestyle, environment, and biology, researchers will uncover paths towards delivering personalized medicine.

 

All participants receive a $25 gift card

upon completion of their visit.

The 2020 Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2020

 

Students who want to participate in the ceremony must RSVP online by March 15th.
