Spring Recess

Spring Recess for students (no classes) will run from March 9 through March 13. All University offices will remain open and staffed from March 9-12. The University will be closed Friday March 13.

The Pitt-Greensburg Office of Career Services has collaborated with other colleges and universities to offer career and internship opportunities. The Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Job & Internship Fair, sponsored by WestPACS will allow students to explore career and internship options with more than 125 employers. Pitt-Greensburg Alumni Association (PGAA)

2020 Student Community Service Award

The PGAA is now accepting nominations for the Student Community Service Award.  The PGAA recognizes a student who best exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism through participation in student organizations and within one’s community.  The winner of this award is expected to attend the end-of-year Student Leadership Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday, April 17.  The recipient receives $500, which is applied to his/her University account. Students may self-nominate or be nominated by fellow students, faculty, or staff. All of Us RESEARCH PROGRAM

 

On Tuesday, March 10, and Wednesday, March 25 representatives of the All of Us Pennsylvania, in coordination with the University of Pittsburgh , will be on campus conducting visits with individuals participating in the nationwide All of Us Research Program.

 

The All of Us Research Program is a historic effort to gather data from one million or more people living in the United States to accelerate research and improve health. By taking into account individual differences in lifestyle, environment, and biology, researchers will uncover paths towards delivering personalized medicine.

 

All participants receive a $25 gift card

upon completion of their visit.
