Three ceremonies are currently planned for Saturday, May 1: 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m. If the RSVPs to this year’s commencement merit the addition of a fourth ceremony, it would be held at 7 p.m. Saturday or at a time to be specified on Sunday, May 2. Graduates, who must RSVP by April 12, will be allowed to invite two guests and will be seated with the guests in “pods” of three chairs. Face coverings will be required at all times. Visit the Commencement web page for complete details about this year’s event. All planning decisions will continue to be based on the current state of the pandemic with the health and safety of the Pitt Greensburg students, staff, faculty, and alumni, in addition to the general community, in the forefront. Should conditions change and an in-person ceremony not be appropriate, a virtual ceremony similar to that of 2020 will be held, with the expectation of an in-person ceremony to be held at a later date.
