SGA Charity Game--Faculty/Staff vs. Students. This year's SGA Charity Game will feature kickball! Sign up in Student Services ($10 registration fee), and be sure to purchase tickets for the raffles. You can purchase raffle tickets remotely during the days leading up to the game, and in-person the day of the game. All game proceeds will go to the scholarship fund benefiting the daughter of a student who passed away in Fall 2020. Game T-shirt for each registrant!!

Science Club general meetings are on Wednesdays starting at 11:45am.  Please stop into our Zoom room after your 11:50 course.  We do not mind latecomers! Don't forget to register for the link and password to access this virtual meeting.

Pitt-Greensburg Criminal Justice Club Biweekly Meetings. Our biweekly meetings feature discussion based on current events going on in the world in regards to criminal justice as well as events that we will host in the future.

Money Moves: Understanding Investing. At some point in time, you may have heard the terms stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and 401(k)s. Just in case you are not familiar with these terms, they are all forms of investments. While all investments pose their own risks, these investment vehicles can help increase the value of your money when managed responsibly.

Circle K General Meeting will be held April 8. Come hang out with Circle K and get involved with some of the service projects we are working on this week. In-person (with COVID-19 protocols) or over Zoom!

Pitt-Greensburg's chapter of Psi Chi, the national psychology honor society, will hold a general meeting to talk about club business and fun psychology topics. Visit Engage to RSVP and to access the URL and passcode for this virtual meeting.

Pitt-Greensburg: JC Penney Suit-Up Event! Pitt-Greensburg students and alumni are invited to the JCPenney Suit-Up Event at Westmoreland Mall where they can shop for career dress apparel and receive an extra 30 percent off select men's and women's career dress apparel, shoes, and accessories. 

Leadership Series: PA Lt. John Fetterman.  John Fetterman, the Lt. Governor of Pennsylvania, will speak with students as part of the Pitt-Greensburg Leadership Series. The series is designed to highlight different leaders within our community and bring them to campus to interact with students. Mr. Fetterman will discuss how he became Lt. Governor, the challenges he faced to get his position, what a day in his life looks like, and what he plans to do next.

The Academic Village Senate meets every other Monday at noon. Clubs and organizations planning educational events should plan to have a representative attend a Village Senate meeting in order to have their events approved for Academic Village credit.

The Pitt-Greensburg campus community will host a memorial for Mark Stauffer, PhD, associate professor of chemistry and former chair of the Natural Sciences Division. This in-person event will be held in Wagner Dining Hall with COVID-19 protocols in place. Refreshments will be included.

PGAA Accepting Nominations for 2021 Alumni Awards

Help us celebrate our alumni and their successes and accomplishments by nominating them for the 2021 PGAA Alumni Awards. Self- and third-party nominations are currently being accepted for the following awards:
               

    Alumnus of Distinction;

    Young Alumni Leadership
    Volunteer Excellence.

Nominations will be accepted through Monday, July 5, 2021. The recipients will be recognized at the Alumni Awards Celebration Dinner during the Blue & Gold Celebration.
